The Federale 102 was the official match ball of the 1934 FIFA World Cup in Italy. It was made by a Roman company called ECAS. The ball was composed of 13 polygonal panels of leather that were cut and sewn together by hand. The ball had a separate panel with a cotton lace that was used to inflate the ball. The ball was named after the Federale 102, a model that was used in the Italian championship since the 1920s3.
